What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of fun dinner & group conversation evenings centered around exploring the big questions of life, spirituality, and faith in a laid back & non-judgmental environment.
We’ll have dinner, watch a short video about faith from a Christian perspective and then talk about what you think about the topics and big questions brought up or whatever else comes up in conversation. No pressure. No judgement. Just open conversation over some good food. That’s it. Come along, see what you think.
What to expect when you’re at Alpha
1. Connect
Each session will start with a time to connect and build friendships, around good food and drinks.
2. Watch a talk
You’ll watch a short Alpha video that explores a big question about life and faith—like Who is Jesus? or Why do we pray?—and then sets you up for a meaningful group conversation afterward.
After the video, you’ll break into a small group to talk it through. It’s a relaxed space to be honest, listen, and ask anything you’re wondering (seriously—no question is too big or too messy).
3. Share your thoughts

Yes! Free dinner, two free drinks, and lots of free-flowing conversation!

No! Alpha is for anyone - people of any faiths, people of no faith, and people who have no idea what they think about faith. The whole point of Alpha is to provide a space for you to explore faith and the big questions of life from your perspective - no matter what that perspective is.

Unfortunately, we do not offer childcare during Alpha. Middle school and high school aged students are welcome to come join in if they are interested.

Yep—100%. Launch Night is day 1 of Alpha, and it’s the best time to try it out. You’ll get a quick feel for what Alpha is, meet some people, and see if you want to come back. If you’re even a little curious (and you like the idea of meeting new people), Launch Night is for you.
